Hey world. What's going on with y'all? What's up with my homies? Woot woot.
My Christmas Tree |
I’m sitting on my bed with my laptop. I just got done with setting up my white Christmas tree in my room. It's quite beautiful, in my opinion. Now I'm tired. My room’s a mess. I should be cleaning it. Oh well. Lifetime’s on the television. I’m a sucker for sappy movies, I must admit. I’m bored. I feel no motivation to do anything but sit here and blog and watch YouTube videos—Typical. My mom’s downstairs. My sister just emailed us a ton of pictures of her in Tuscaloosa with her boyfriend, Brandon. He’s funny. I’ve met him once before. My sister’s so pretty. I’m so jealous but I’m so proud of her. I can’t believe she’s in college now. I feel old. I think I feel gray hair coming on. Darn. It’s her freshman year at the University of Alabama and she really likes it. She thought about going to Auburn considering it is ten minutes down the road but that Crimson Tide spirit got into her so she decided on Tuscaloosa. My dad was happy. He might have disowned her if she went to AU. Just kidding. But he wouldn’t have been a happy camper about it. I have a lot of family members who’re alumni so I’ll probably be going there too. No problem with that. Well today was pretty dull. You can’t say much about a rainy Tuesday in Alabama. It is what it is. Gray skies just aren’t my thing. Unless I’m chilling at home and there’s nothing on my agenda. It’s raining now, I’m pretty sure. But I’m too lazy to look out the window and the curtains are blocking my view. I’m texting my boyfriend Ty and three of my friends. It’s super hard to text more than one person at a time. I mean seriously, you start forgetting what you last said to everyone and what conversation you’re having with them. Maybe it’s just me. I don’t know. I want to get my iPod and get some new songs off iTunes. I love Bruno Mars’s Grenade, Kesha’s We R Who We R, and Like a G6 has grown on me and I want to hear that new Michael Jackson song. I do love me some Michael. I’m heading to ATL for the weekend. I’m going to the SEC Championship game with my friend Christine. She’s a Gamecocks fan and she’s lending me a shirt to sport while I’m there. It’ll be fun. College football games are the bomb, although I prefer them to be Alabama games of course. It’ll be awesome though since I have seen Christine and her family since this summer. We always act like complete dorks when were together. For this weekend, I am a Gamecock fan. I hope that they can kick some Tiger butt and get revenge for us. Just realized how close to Christmas it is. We’re already decorating the house. We got some icicles put up outside and were getting a real Christmas tree soon. I love the way you feel all warm and fuzzy at Christmas. It’s still flipping hot down here though. Well the whether sort of flip flops from humid to freezing. That’s living in the South for you. I think I want some Hot Cocoa so for now this is all I have to say. And now I will end my random rambling. Thanks for reading.
Merry early, early Christmas, y’all.
