A Poisonous Rivalry

Okay y'all all know the story. Some crazy dude from Dadeville, Alabama named Harvey Updyke poisoned the oak trees on Toomer's corner. It's all over the news. I rode by it the other day. It's quite sad actually. There are candles and signs and people standing around mourning. What kind of insane idiot poisons a tree? That's taking everything way too far. Now people are going to assume all Bama fans are nutcases like him but were not, well I am certainly not. Being from around the area, I am very familiar with Toomer's corner despite being a Bama fan. (I'm much closer to AU than I am to UA) And no how redneck I believe it is to roll a tree, it saddens me to see this happen. It made me cry seeing how much something like this had hurt so many people. This just goes to show how vicious this rivalry is. It has to be the most vicious in all of college sports.
